By applying to become and being a member of Facegreet I agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions and I understand that Facegreet 's acceptance of my application shall create a legally binding contract between me and Facegreet .

1. Although Facegreet uses all reasonable endeavors to ensure that introductions to members fall within the category of persons specified by them on their application form it will not accept responsibility if, through no fault of its own, any such person introduced to you does not fall within such category nor will it accept any responsibility for any occurrence as a consequence of any meeting with or relationship formed with any such person as a result of such introduction.

2. All information supplied to Facegreet by you will be treated in the strictest of confidence and is in accordance with the EU Directive on Data Protection and the Data Protection Act 1998 . By becoming a Facegreet member and agreeing to these Terms and Conditions you consent to the provisions of the Data Protection Notice.

3. All members warrant the accuracy of all information supplied by them to Facegreet and Facegreet accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any inaccuracies howsoever arising. You hereby warrant that you do not know of any medical, criminal or physical reason why you should not form a conventional relationship with the opposite sex unless such impediment has been declared to Facegreet in advance. The right to accept or refuse membership to anyone is at the sole discretion of Facegreet .

4. You confirm that you are over eighteen years old and that the contents of your Personal Profile are true and accurate in all respects and that you have never been convicted of a serious criminal offence. You understand that if any serious or deliberately misleading inaccuracies should come to light, Facegreet reserves the right to expel you and refer the details of such inaccuracies to the Introduction Services Federation, in order to protect its associated companies' members or to take civil or criminal action against you.

5. You hereby agree that you will not use the Facegreet service to make or attempt to make any statement which is obscene, racist, inappropriate, offensive or otherwise illegal through your personal statement or within the messaging service. You may not attempt to make any reference or allusion to any sexually explicit acts, parts of the body with sexual overtones or to look for possible partners under the age of 18. Members may not use profanity within the Facegreet service or use the Facegreet service to libel, slander or defame another person. Facegreet reserves the right to expel any member found committing such an act.

6. You hereby declare that you are either single, widowed, divorced or legally separated. You do not live in the same abode as your former spouse or partner. You do not live with anyone in a manner that can be construed to be co-habiting, either at your home address or any other address. You have not been convicted of a serious criminal offence, nor have you spent any time in prison.

7. You acknowledge that your profile, photograph and contact details may be accessed by members and non-members worldwide via a number of media including, but not limited to, hardcopy profiles that are sent out, audio recordings, mobile devices, interactive Digital TV and the Facegreet website and the websites of Facegreet 's associated companies.

8. After supplying your initial list of names, a charge will be raised for each time the contact details of a member are requested (except online only users).

9. Facegreet reserves the right to withdraw membership from any person at its sole discretion and in that event the unexpired portion of the membership fee paid will be refunded in full. Save as aforesaid no refunds will be made unless otherwise provided for by Facegreet in its brochures or other promotional literature.

10. No payment or refund will be given to you for any downtime in the Facegreet service or for your inability to access the service due to technical problems beyond Facegreet 's control when payment comes into effect.

11. Age Restriction (18+ Only).

MINORS MAY NOT BECOME MEMBERS. By becoming a Member, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. Facegreet prohibit registration by and will not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under 18. This requirement will be posted at points of data collection within Facegreet, such as registration for services. Facegreet reserve the right to DELETE/REMOVE or BAN anyone who they believe to be under the age of 18 from its services.

12. Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulation Act (2000), you are entitled to a forteen-day cooling off period. During this time you have the right to cancel your contract without penalty. However, the cooling off period and the right to cancel does not apply if you begin to use the Facegreet service before the end of the cooling off period. Therefore, if you use our services immediately by accessing our database, you will not be able to cancel the contract.

If you have joined via the website your subscription will continue to be debited from your account until such time as you cancel your membership on the website.

13. Don't spam on Facegreet. To spam includes sending identical or irrelevant emails to other members. Spamming is a serious violation of Facegreet procedures of use and Facegreet reserves the right to ban members at any time as spamming is a serious violation of online etiquette and will not be tolerated. This also included emails services to publish, post, distribute, or disseminate defamatory, infringing, obscene, or other unlawful material or information.

1. DATA PROTECTION NOTICE

Any personal information you register with Facegreet will be used for the purpose of matching you with other members and for sending you details (by post, e-mail, telephone, fax, SMS, interactive Digital TV or any other appropriate technology) of those matching members. Facegreet will also send such of your details to any member who requests your details. Your profile (including your photograph if supplied) and your user or first name, your age and the town or county in which you live will be visible to world-wide users of the website and to users of interactive Digital TV, or through any media which Facegreet deems appropriate. Please note that we shall not disclose your contact details to any non-member unless you explicitly allow it. By completing the registration form, you consent to our processing personal data including, but not limited to, your location, marital status, ethnicity, smoking and drinking habit, religious and political affiliation, personality, hobbies, interests and attitudes. You also consent to your photograph being placed on the Facegreet site. You also consent to our transferring your data to group companies, members, other third parties or to countries which do not provide for the same level of data protection as the UK if necessary for the above purposes.

All Facegreet members must take careful note of their password and are responsible for keeping this password safe and solely for their own use. This password allows you to access and change the information Facegreet holds about you and to request that those details are not distributed. Please make sure that your details are correct and up-to-date to help Facegreet provide you with the best service. Facegreet takes all reasonable measures to protect your personal information and to prevent unauthorized access to it, including making all Facegreet staff aware of their obligations as data processors. Any contracts between ourselves and group companies or third parties relating to the processing of your data include clauses requiring that they guarantee your data the same level of technical and organisational security that they offer their own data.

Should your membership expire, Facegreet shall maintain your data for a reasonable period for administrative purposes and the purposes indicated in this Data Protection Notice, after which time it will be deleted. 2. YOUR OBLIGATION TO US

(d) Upload files, post or publish content that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of another's computer.

(e) Advertise or offer to sell any goods or services for any commercial purpose.

(f) Conduct or forward surveys, contests, pyramid schemes or chain letters.

(n) Submit any posting or upload any content that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party.

(o) Attempt to use Facegreet or the Services if your use has been suspended.

(p) Use Facegreet for any unlawful purpose.

(q) Post any off – topic comments in any chat room or forum accessible via Facegreet.

(r) Impersonate any person via Facegreet.

(s) Post any images of children on Facegreet.

(t) Otherwise infringe the rights of any third party or their ability to use Facegreet.
